In my backyard there is both a lemon and lime tree. They have grown together weaving around each others trunks since seedlings.  This brings me to the month of April. Lemons and Limes and April? What? April is my main money maker month, so I get a mix of lemon jobs and lime jobs. So excellent, great people, great pay, others waiting months for a check on some and badly planned. The limes I heart with wonderful butterflies in my stomach. Lemons uggghhh, well I am 10 years deep in my lemon knowledge. I will add that both trees’ fruit starts out green so you don’t know if it’s a lime or a lemon right away.

The green fruit is like a new gig, all looks great. Sometimes you know right away that the fruit is just bad. The brown fruit equals a smooth no thank you, or am booked. The green fruit is the dream. It’s new, new people, new gig, new network. The fruit can turn to a lemon fast. No contract, bad planning, lack of communication and so on. I’ ve got lemon jobs that suck the audit out of me. Ya audit, been there done that. Parking tickets am still paying for. Oh and playing catch up on bills that should have, would have been paid if someone got it together.

Limes, oh limes, if that fruit stays green, so money. I love limes, so am dream of more limes this season. I want buckets of limes. I want so many limes I can start a lime farm. So I am being wishful, yet focused on the limes.
